Kassandrino (and Kassandrinos) is a traditional village and seat of the municipal district of the same name in the municipality of Kassandra in the prefecture of Halkidiki. Its location is in an area full of pine trees, in the center of Kassandra. The village has kindergarten, post office, OTE and a cultural club among others. Its main products are oil and honey. The cathedral is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (celebrated on 15 August) and was built after the war, made of stone. The church of the Holy Trinity, old catacomb, with frescoes is also important. Also, the chapel of Agios Georgios, celebrating festively on April 23rd, is 3km away and its location is in the southeast of Kassandrinos, at a location with ancient trees.
