Pefkohori is a large settlement in the prefecture of Halkidiki. Administratively it belongs to the Municipality of Kassandra in the Region of Central Macedonia (Kallikratis program).
It is about 105 kilometers from Thessaloniki and is surrounded by pine forest, as its name implies. According to the 2011 census, the population is 1,931. The village is touristy and its sandy beach attracts many visitors every year. There are two kindergartens in the village, among them a Primary School, a Gymnasium, a rural clinic, KAPI and a cultural association named “Alkion”. There is also a Social Welfare Unit in the village.
